NAS buying advice!

    Hi all,

    I looking for a NAS that can following;

    Run movies to my Chromecast maybe via PLEX?

    Run Ubiquiti controller

    Run a torrent client

    2 bay hdd

    But i can't figure out which one i should choose...

    Can somebody direct me on which one is best

    The price is no matter, right now i just want to know which one can do what...

    Giving that there are tens of 2 bay NAS'es that can do that, with prices from 100€ to over 500€ (without HDD's) , maybe price should matter at least a little.
    Also, how big is your torrents pool? A few, several tens, hundreds of torrents?

    You will have to run the Ubiquiti controller in a VM. QNAP has better VM handling than Synology.
    Many NASes will handle your other needs. Look at the Ranker for performance comparison.

    QNAP has a community built qpkg for the UniFI stuff...
