I'm using firmware 3.0.0.4.384.32797, and it is not working.
Have tried this on two separate units now.

NAT loopback works just fine on my AC86, weird..

Works OK on mine as well ... 86U running Merlin 384.6, can’t comment on stock firmwares as I’ve never run them.

Fair call and I apologise for my slight off-topicness, sometimes easy to lose track of where you are on SNB. Maybe @RMerlin already fixed something that was broken?
Dude, np at all! I appreciate the extra insight.
Does the Merlin software support AiMesh?
Is it easy to revert back to stock, if needed?

At this point, I'm considering my options - either take the Merlin route, or return the router.

Rather than take this further off-topic suggest you browse the Merlin section, a wealth of information ...

Any news on this? NAT Loopback is important to me and it works running Merlin on my RT-AC66U B1. I'm looking at reverting from Merlin to ASUS Version 3.0.0.4.384.32738 to implement AIMesh but only if NAT Loopback isn't lost.
