Need Help with a complicated Network Setup between countries

New Around Here
Dear Friends,

I am posting for the first time on this forum because I am tackling a setup which for me is quite complicated and advanced. I don't know exactly where to start but let me first give you an idea about what I am trying to achieve.

I have two homes which in which I regularly live. One in the Netherlands one in Belgium. In NL I have optical fiber with a 50 Mbit symetrical line and a subscription to KPN IPTV wich all channels. I am paying roughly 70 EUR monthly for all the packages and the line in NL.

The home in BE has a very slow line that offers a max of 5Mbits Down and 0.7 Mbits Upstream. For the home in BE I am only subscribed to the Internet service with unlimited traffic without TV as most of the channels are in French and useless to me.

The idea is that I want to create a link between my home in NL and BE so I can watch my NL IPTV in my home in Belgium.

The current equipment/setup:

Home NL:

KPN Modem and wireless router: Arcadyan VGV7519
Firmware Version:02.00.124

Very little configuration can be done on the Arcadyan VGV7519 aside from Port Forwarding and some minor DHCP settings.

The TV box as shown in the pictures attached gets the signal VIA a regular Patch cable but has to be directly connected to the LAN port of the Modem /Rouer box Arcadyan VGV7519 to function. Opening a VPN connection from my home in the Netherlands is possible and I've tested it.

Basically I'd like to open a VPN connection in NL and forward the Signal straight to a specified port on my router in BE and connect the NL IPTV box to this Port in BE to watch my NL TV in BE. The IPTV box must be under the 'impression' that it is connected to my Modem/Router in NL.

Right now I am in my home in NL and I've tried to connect the IPTV box to a new RT-N66U Asus Router that I've bought for this purpose.
So I've connected a LAN cable from my NL Router/Modem to my RT-N66U (Wan Port) and connected the IPTV box to a LAN port on my RT-N66U. Unfortunately the TV signal did not go through. The IPTV Box is showing me a text on TV that I should get rid of the DHCP Device that is between the Modem and the IPTVBOX. In other words, It wants a direct connection to the DHCP of the Modem/Router and my RT-N66U does not work.

What works is when I connect the LAN cable from The Modem to one of the LAN ports of my RT-N66U and then connect the TVBOX to one of the other LAN ports of the RT-N66U. I suppose the RT-N66U works as a switch then.
Another option I tried is setting the RT-N66U to Acces Point (AP) mode and connecting the LAN cable from the Modem/Router to the RT-N66U WAN port and the IPTVBOX to one of the RT-N66U LAN ports which also seems to work but then I can't use the RT-N66U to make a VPN connection..

So first problem is forwarding the IPTV Signal through the RT-N66U and getting it to work without getting the DHCP error message of the motorolla IPTVBOX.

I tried deactivating the DHCP on the RT-N66U but then the TVBOX just shows me an error message that I should check my internet connection. Probably because the IPTVBOX is not getting any IP address. I don't think I can manually log into the IPTV box and set an IP. I also have no deep understanding of Routing and DHCP/NAT.

The TV provider in NL also offers a Web-view version fro the TV which you can only use when you are logged on to your home network. So basically you can watch TV on your PC.
I've used the RT-N66U to create a VPN server in my NL home. From my Home in NL I've logged onto my BE Home VPN server where the other RT-N66U is posted. After establishing the VPN connection from my NL Home to my BE home, I've also connected to my NL VPN having both the BE VPN and NL VPN active and the web view TV worked which I suppose means that I can now watch Web-TV in my BE home. Just how do I make the physical IPTV box work from my home in BE?
Is there an option to forward the VPN signal from my NL home through my RT-N66U in NL to one of the ports on my RT-N66U Router in my home in BE? The IPTVBOX cuts about 300Kb/s of bandwith. so In theory it should work in BE at least from a bandwidth perspective

Equipment availble:

2x RT-N66U
1x TP-Link TL-WR842ND Multi-Function Wireless N Router (says it has a VPN function but I suppose it can't create a dedicated VPN server on the router so I am not sure if it helps at all)

I am sorry this got a bit long but I didn't know how to describe it in a more compressed fashion ;-)

Thanks for your ideas and help

I can't see the pictures, so it's a bit hard to follow, but I'll give it a shot. :)

I think the ASUS routers won't work. From the specs I found on the units, they support a pptp vpn server, but that's about it. To fool your VGV7519 into thinking it's on a local lan, I'd suggest a site-to-site aka gateway-to-gateway vpn.

Basically, it would work this way. Your NL home would be on say 192.168.0.x while BE would be 192.168.1.x. The two routers would connect to each other and establish one huge lan over your wan links. One segment of this lan is 192.168.0.x while the other is 192.168.1.x. This should appear as 'local' to your VGV7519 and should work assuming it's not super-smart.
