It took them years to catch on, but Microsoft FINALLY reached a point where their Office 365 Home and Personal offerings are actually worth paying for (following the policy changes from last month).

Completely agree there - previously one was limited on installations, but with the policy change moving towards concurrent usage makes it a lot easier to work with.

What was the policy change if you don't mind me asking?

They increased the number of allowed users and allowed devices for the Home and the Personal plans.

https://techcommunity.microsoft.com...more-from-your-Office-365-Home-or/ba-p/234907 A person can buy a 365 Personal account, and use it on pretty much all of their devices, instead of being limited to one single computer (plus one tablet). So someone who has a desktop and a laptop no longer needs to buy two Personal licences.

Is 365 a one time purchase? I have not even looked into the price of that yet.

It's a subscription, includes all Office applications and 1TB of cloud storage.

I get 10 devices on my license.
