Is 365 a one time purchase? I have not even looked into the price of that yet.

It took them years to catch on, but Microsoft FINALLY reached a point where their Office 365 Home and Personal offerings are actually worth paying for (following the policy changes from last month).

Completely agree there - previously one was limited on installations, but with the policy change moving towards concurrent usage makes it a lot easier to work with.

365 is the subscription version - they still offer the single purchase option with regular Office

They increased the number of allowed users and allowed devices for the Home and the Personal plans.

So someone who has a desktop and a laptop no longer needs to buy two Personal licences.

It's a subscription, includes all Office applications and 1TB of cloud storage.
