Need NAS for Streaming HD videos

Hello, I generate many short (1-2 minute) HD video clips and would like for other family members to occasionally view these videos (in HD) over the internet using a software client.

Will the QNAP or Synoptic NASes do that, or can you recommed a different NAS? What about the new LinksysbyCisco Media NAS?

My internet upload speed is around 1.5Mbps (using Speedtest).

The Synology 209+ looks pretty good. I am about to buy one myself.
