Netflix and VPN

I am currently using stock firmware. I configured a VPN through L2TP in my router. Problem is Netflix will not accept connections through VPN anymore. Is there in the MerlinWRT firmware an option to not use VPN only for certain websites/services?

If so, how do I use it?
If not, can it be built?

Not possible out of the box, this would require you to start writing custom routing scripts.

I do not devote any development efforts to PPTP or L2TP.

VPNs are working hard to find a workaround.
In the meantime i'm sure many are searching for other ways.....like those nice little android boxes.

How about the same thing through OpenVPN?

It's possible per IP, but not per port, due to conflicts with the other components of the router that might overwrite the firewall rules.
