Hi guys,
I have a little quirk with my RT-BE88U (running Asuswrt-merlin 3006.102.7) where my guest network password reverts to the placeholder string I initially set through the web GUI when creating it. I'm periodically cycling the WPA2 key using a script which functions fine, but it randomly reverts after days to weeks, usually with reboots/firmware upgrades though not consistently so.
The old 'placeholder' WPA2 key in the field on the web GUI remains unchanged, despite nvram get wl0.2_wpa_psk displaying the correct key after my script runs. Does anyone know where the value displayed in the web GUI is stored so I can modify this too with my script, preventing these random reversions?
On my previous RT-AC68U the same script's network password changes would immediately reflect in the web GUI.
Thanks.
