What Alpha version are you using on the RT-AC86U and why aren't you on Beta 4 yet? :)

386-1 Alpha3

Was waiting on the final. I'm not very tech savvy, and this is my only router. Can't be without internet at this time.

Resetting and reinstalling everything is not possible at this time.

In the future, you’ll want to avoid Alpha firmware then.

Right now, RMerlin recommends a full reset when coming from an Alpha version.

So, be prepared.

Even if you do need to do it, it’s not as arduous as it sounds.

Then you should never use anything but a well tested final release firmware. Alphas and betas are experimental software and likely contain bugs / errors , they are not for people that aren't tech savvy or have a critical need for a stable working system.

At the time I installed the Alpha, testing was a normal thing for me. I always installed the Alphas and Betas and participated in testing the the things Merlin requested.

Things changed recently so I am not able to test or modify anything.

Having said that, are the lines shown in my log anything to be concerned about, or is this a belittle thread now?

If your router and network are behaving as expected, I think it's safe to ignore those messages (alpha/beta builds are extra 'chatty', as per RMerlin).

Unless you have an issue, that we can try to solve together, decoding cryptic log entries is just informational at this point.

I'm running 386.2.4 on my AC86U, and I'm seeing this, too.

And when it happens, my internet is VERY slow and unreliable....

Is 386.2.4 unstable Alpha/Beta, too?

So you do. I went in to Adaptive QoS to check internet speed because I was having problems, and jumped to entirely the wrong conclusion.
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing...
