New asuscomm, new router and spare old router with old asuscomm

Will I run into problems if I don't deregister the old asuscomm on the old router when the new router with new (another) asuscomm get on air. Both intern wan ip and extern Host ip may be the same.

The reason to do this is because of my health and I must give instructions to another person to switch the routers remote.

I have setup everything, but think one must export new client files onplace but I hope nothing else. I have been told that the asuscomm should pick up the new Host ip automatically.

If something go wrong it should be easy to switch back to the old router, but hope to avoid that. Therefore this question.
