The NETGEAR FlexPower Wire-Free IP Camera (VNC4030) is compliant with the open standards put out by the Open Network Video Interference Forum (ONVIF), making security cameras compatible with other ONVIF products such as the FlexPower Base Station (VNB4000), as well as NETGEAR 4G LTE modems and other existing products.

Encased in an IP65 weatherproof shell and powered by rechargeable battery, AC adapter or optional solar panel, FlexPower products are designed for simplified installation that doesn’t require extra wiring and constant battery charging (one battery charge can last several months).

VNC4030 provides 720p HD video and IR night vision with its 130-degree wide angle lens and RGB-R sensor and includes PIR motion detection that streams detected movement, while its PTZ lets you use the camera’s app for live streaming.

The FlexPower VNC4030 camera and VNB4000 base station will be available for shipping in October with pre-orders starting in September. Pricing for each are $229.99 and $99.99, respectively.
