Great if I went for this Id have to try and make sure I got the newer version.

In terms of features what would I be missing over the ac3200 ?

If you have more than one high usage wireless client, it can be a positive improvement to your network.

Would be interesting to compare a single "X-Stream" AC3200/AC5300 against a dual AP AC1900 class setup...

Gut tells me that the dual AP network will outperform..

There are downsides to using an AP versus a router.

well as per my other topic i just made range isnt the issue at the farther i need to go which is my deck, i get excelent on 2.4ghz but good on 5ghz the issue is the speeds on the deck are sub 10 mbit at best mostly 5mbit. and while that should be good enough for facebook type games and web browsing, people complain it slow.

with in the house it all 30 to 100+mbit depending on device

While I do want new router is mostly cause I want router with power to do more then 100 mbit WITH QOS on and not hit cpu wall like the ac66u would like one that could do 500mbit atlest with QOS on talking wired here dont care much about wifi it just has reach deck and have altest 30mbit on all bands which the 66u cant, but i have nother topic with setings that could maybe be changed? people could look at
