New switch and imesh

Recently I bought the QNAP QSW-M2108-2C because it has 8 2.5gb ports.

It is a managed switch and well I have never used a managed switch before but I decided to try it anyway.

So I receive the switch and start to plug everything.

My aimesh worked flawlessly before unplugging the cables.

The brain is an AX11000, 4 zen wifi and one ax89x.

My ISP modem is in the third floor and before I had one cable going from the ISP to the wan port of the 11. Then another cable from a Lan port returning to the third floor to connect the switch and from there all the ethernet cables to the the others mesh nodes.

When I received the qnap I tried to do the same but my nodes started to behave like crazy not connecting to the 11 or just disappearing from the web page. I decided to give it a try so I turned them off all of them and made a factory reset to only one. Setup good but when I take it to his place the system says disconnected. I don't use wireless connection for the nodes, only ethernet but even when that it doesn't recognize the zen.

It's driving me crazy so I decided to go back to the old 1gb switch and everything works good now.

Any idea of why and what can I do? I really want to use the 2.5 switch and specially the 10gb ports with a new nas that I bought.

AiMesh does not like managed switches. This has been discussed before. Some, however, seem to get it working.
