New Around Here
Hi,
I just bought and (tried to) set up the ASUS RT-N66U, directly wired from laptop to router to access http://192.168.1.1/ for the setup
I loaded with the latest ASUS firmware-3.0.0.4.376_1071
I set up "asus guest" access and primary "asus" access and restarted modem and router.
It looked like it was all set until I disconnected the laptop from the router and tried to connect wirelessly.
For some reason, my laptop is unable to connect to my "asus" line but CAN connect just fine under the "asus guest". I disconnected and reconnected, unplugged and plugged modem, router and restarted laptop but it still won't connect to my "asus" wifi line.
My cellphone connects just fine to the "asus" wifi line.
I have an dell laptop running windows 7.
What did I do wrong and how can I fix it, PLEASE! and thank you in advance!
