No 5 GHz showing up in WiFi Network Search on RT-AC66U running Merlin 380.58_0

So i am new to the whole CFW but decided to try out 380.58_0 Merlin on my RT-AC66U, all is running fine but for some reason no devices can detect the 5 GHz when i search for available WiFi networks. The 2.4 GHz is fine but no sign of 5 GHz, do you think i need to clear the NVRAM as i went to 380.58_0 straight from stock. Also is there any guides on optimising the Router via settings and so forth. Any help will be appreciated, Thanx

Is the 5GHz radio on? Indicator LED on router on or off?

Not every laptop/tablet/phone support the 5 GHz band. Make sure yours do support it.

Sorry guys i should checked my PC or Phone are not dual band, thanx for the replies guys . Btw is there a guide or and thread where i can get optimal settings for the RT-AC66U, and RMerlin loving the Firmware i have definitely seen better results in speed and connection.

The guide does include some generic advice on how best to configure things out.

Expanding on the comment above...

And not all clients support all 5GHz channels in a particular region, FWIW...

So on the client side, make sure drivers are up to date if it's known that the client supports the 5GHz band...
