I currently have a VPN server configured on my Asus AC- RT88U router so that I can access my local home network when I am traveling. Works great. I have also configured a VPN client via the AirVPN Manchester Dabih server. That too works well.
However, if I have both the VPN server (my own) AND the VPN client (AirVPN) enabled at the same time, I loose the connection to my home network when travelling. In a nutshell, the AirVPN client works, but the server does not.
In my noobness, I have set up port forwarding on the AirVPN client so that port 6xxxx is forwarded to my router. I have then set my VPN server's port on the same. I.E. 6xxxx. But when I try to connect to my router remotely via my VPN server, it doesn't connect.
Can someone help me, guide me hopefully, in simple 1>2>3 steps to complete my mission, which I am assuming is possible to achieve.

Thanks in advance.
