i have the n56u with russian firmware and had no problems until i attached a 2 tb external disk to the router.
no disconnects on wan, 2,4 or 5 ghz band, read and write speeds of 20 MB/s on 5 ghz.
i use the disk as a backup medium for my musik.
yesterday i sync´d my music folder from laptop to external disk through the router and pure-sync said 5440 files need to be copied......but i only added 10 albums.
i compared a few bigger folders and saw that some files were missing, even after copying the 5440 files. when i try to copy manually win7 asks to overwrite the existing files.
the files are there but i can not see them through the router, if i connect the external drive to the laptop i can see the files.
the external drive is ntfs formatted.
is there a firmware without this problem?
