OK starting to have issues with RT-AC68R

So this router is starting to have issues rebooting it self??? I am running firmware ver. 3.0.0.4.374.4561, so I am wondering if I should try Mr. Merlin's firmware, seems to me like like he is the GURU here on ASUS router's. Is there a step by step instruction thread, and also where do I get the firmware file from???
