One device can't connect via WIFI

My AI-Mesh router became disconnected (not sure when) - so I spent some time getting it reconnected today... (had to do a factory reset on the mesh router...) ... seems my 5ghz wasn't working at all... :? :(

Now when I reconnect my devices (10+) I have a single device that fails to connect... I enter the password and it tries to connect - .... connecting'.

Then I get an authentication error - and the SSID is left in a status of 'Saved/Check password and try again'.

I have tried - > 20 times - I am 100% certain the password is correct... especially since I just reconnected those other 10 devices. I've rebooted both routers - several times...

... looked for some expired leases but can't find where they may be? Was hoping I could find this device's MAC and remove it from the router somehow - but can't find how to do that in Merlin?

Any ideas what I can try?

(the offending device is a google pixel tablet - never had issues previously...)

OK - I have identified that the issue is related to my AI MESH Router... for some reason it isn't recognizing the SSID Password - so those devices that were connecting to the MESH Router were failing during wifi connection - authentication.

So now - what can I do to try to get that mesh router fixed so it recognizes the same passwords???

Might this have to do with whether the mesh router is setup in router or AP mode? If so - where can I look which it is and how might I change it?

Remove the AiMesh node. Do a hard factory reset. Then add it back to the mesh with the router. If you used a config file to set up the router I would do a hard factory reset and manally configure the router. It is not necessary but I would use Asus firmware on the node.
