OpenVPN shows many clients connected that are not me

I see lots of connection attempts from various IP addresses out there, see the attached VPN status screen excerpt. The log shows them timing out for TLS handshake failing. I presume they leave these connections open for a while? Is there any setting that might allow me to avoid this?

Also, can the log be suppressed for these sorts of messages, they happen constantly.

Use an unusual port rather than the default

How can I configure OpenVPN to reject these quicker and definitely reduce the log messages, I hate those messages cluttering up the system log. Moving ports works temporarily, a simple port scan finds it.

Malwares tend to only scan known ports, for efficiency reasons. Just changing to a non standard port will drop 99% of these attempts.

Is there a way to reduce the logging, or eliminate it for the openvpn messages?

Maybe by setting the OpenVPN logging to its minimum, but I don't know if it will exclude failed connections.

nice.. please remove all log. Hope hackers will creep into your router.
People already tried recommending you better way but you choose the unconventional way.
