Thanks for all the suggestions. I managed to resolve the issue with a Powerline Set (TP-Link TL-PA6010KIT AV600 Gigabit Powerline Adapter Starter Kit Up to 600MBPS). This cost me 101C$ from NCIX including Tax.
After installing it on the electrical socket directly and connecting to the router using an ethernet cable, I was able to obtain 118.7 Mbps Download and 13.6 Mbps Upload. It also goes into power saving mode if my PC goes to sleep when I am not using it (Usually on 24/7), so that should help. I will keep you guys updated if there are any issues with this device.
I will upgrade my Firmware for the Wifi to the latest firmware from Merlin for RT-N66u later this week. Hope I can get the noise down and get little better speeds this time.
