Packet loss on latest Merlin N66U

Been a great fan of Merlin for ages.
Since updating to the latest version on my N66U I'm seeing packet loss and poorer Wi-Fi strength with exactly the same settings as before.
Any ideas?

As I only use N66U's on the 5Ghz band with the latest firmware, I have never encountered this problem. How many devices do you use and which band are you using the most?

Yeah i see this too for RT-AC88U with latest RMERLIN (and Asus) firmware 1354 alpha2 . Getting constantly around 0.5% up to 5% packet loss. Not yet tried with other tests.
