Parental Control/Adblocking/DNS filtering without Trend Micro?

Hi,

I would like to be able to use these features without sending my information to a 3rd party. Is this possible? or are there equivalent 'local' technologies available?

If you try to enable a feature that uses Trend Micro it will ask you to accept their EULA. So provided you've never accepted that anything else doesn't use it.
