PCE-AC68 prefer 5ghz?

Anyone know how to get the AC68 to prefer 5ghz? I'm on Windows 10. My router is literally 5ft away. InSSIDer shows 5ghz at -44 and 2.4ghz at -37 signals. In the driver settings I set 'roaming decision' to optimize bandwidth and 'roam tendency' to conservative. Can't find any other settings that are relevant but Windows still keeps prefering the 2.4ghz channel (SSID is same). Besides using a different SSID, anyone have any idea how this can be accomplished?

I'm using driver 7.35.317.3 (2/3/2016)

Thanks!

Nevermind! I found this guide and followed instructions to disable 802.11g/b band which fixed the issue. Now the router only sees 5ghz channels.

Another way I found is to only have the 5Ghz SSID enabled to auto connect with the 2.4Ghz auto connect disabled on the windows machine. It then auto connects to the 5Ghz if it's available but if you go out of range of the 5Ghz or it fails for some reason you can connect manually to the 2.4Ghz.
