Hello,

I have just installed an ASUS pce-axe59bt Wifi card.
I installed the Windows 11 64 bit drivers from the ASUS website.

The Wifi power is at maximum but I'm in 2.4GHZ, not 5GHZ.
In the advanced settings of the device manager, the card is set to 802.11ax.

My network is an asus mesh network (GT-AX6000 and RT-AX86u), with a 5Ghz wifi band enabled.
My smartphone, when I'm next to my wifi card, automatically switches to 5Ghz.
I have no issue getting 5Ghz on my other devices.

What can I do to get wifi on my pc in 5GHz?

Thanks in advance for any help

Chrisbati

Are you using a single SSID (aka 'smartconnect')?

yes, only one SSID for both band.
But no issue with my windows 11 laptop, only on my windows 11 desktop and the asus wifi card.
