Permissions question

In Windows Explorer, when I go to Computer, C Drive, Users, I can create files and folders as I please.

But when I drill down from Network , ComputerName, and find the same Users folder, I cannot add change or delete files or folders.

I get the error message " Folder Access Denied, You need permission to perform this action. Your required permission form Administrator to make changes to this folder.

I am signed in as Administrator

This happens on my Vista anda Win 7 machines ; don’t have the issue on my XP machines.

Is there something I have set incorrectly on my Vista and Win 7 machines???
