Plex Playback (wifi) issues/question

From time to time my plex app (on tv - which is only connected via wifi) - will pause play, even when I'm connecting to my internal plex media server (also connected - wifi 6ghz).

I've always thought it may be my plex settings.

However I recently read (somewhere?) that rebooting my router may help. So I tried that - and it did seem to help.
The TV (LG G4) is connected using 5ghz, (connects to my AI Mesh device, not the main router). I am not running any QOS on the router.

Are there perhaps some settings I should be trying on my router?

By wifi 5G do you mean "5GHz band" or wifi 5 or cellular 5G ?

same question for "wifi 6 G " ?

wifi is a "best effort" service. Noise and interference from other devices can cause exactly what you have experienced. AiMesh causes its own complications and issues. Without knowing your physical environment and all of the wifi gear there and neighboring, it is very difficult to try to diagnose and give specific advice, especially if it is not a consistent issue.

Hard wire you plex server to the TV may solve most of your issues.

embarrassing ... yes of course I meant 5 or 6 ghz bands - I corrected the post)

Unfortunately hard wiring isn't an option where I live. I have a pair of RT-AX86U Pro (one main, 1 AIMesh routers thinking there shouldn't be any throughput issues with them.

Any way to prioritize traffic on the devices I'm using Plex on? I've tried QOS (streaming media) but I didn't notice any improvement...

FWIW - I've seen this with the Plex App on Apple TV and Google (onn4k) - it's the app...
