New Around Here
I have a DGS-1008P 8 port with 4 port poe and a repeater By looking at my specs can someone tell me if this should work or do I have to use the supplied injector?

http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=805

I'm trying to power an outdoor repeater.
http://www.premiertek.net/products/networking/ARG-CPE2618A.html

The repeater power requirements are
12V, 1.25A / 1.5A through RJ-45 connector. Maximum input Voltage =40V
This came with a poe injector but I want to use my switch.

My switch spec is
• Supports IEEE 802.3af
• Supplies power to PD: up to 15.4 Watts
• Total PoE budget: 52 Watts
• PoE port count/Average PoE watts per port: 4 (Port 1 - 4) / 13 Watts

If the product does not support 802.3af, then you'll need to use the injector.

Thank you

This is the only information I can find on the repeater

Power Over Ethernet (POE)
AC 100~240V; DC 48V/0.4A (max.)

Thanks for you quick response and help
