Port forwarding and NAT randomly stops workig

New Around Here
hi I have a wgr614 router which was connected to a to to link switch(unmanaged)

I change the to link switch to a netgear pro safe (managed but I haven't changed any settings)

I have a combination of NAT(ip camera) and port forwarded devices which always used to work when I had my to linknswitch connected to router.

Now every so often (with my new best gear managed switched) the port forwarding and NAT stops working(I've checked a open port website too) the only way to start it working again is to log into router settings and click renew).

Any ideas why this may be

dhcp ip address lease timeout ?

Change the switch back to an unmanaged one. This is one case where a managed switch causes more trouble than its worth.
