I have never seen the following in my log until this morning:

Jul 11 07:05:56 kernel: TCP: time wait bucket table overflow
Jul 11 07:05:56 kernel: TCP: time wait bucket table overflow

Anything to be concerned about? It only appeared a few times over a couple of minutes and hasn't been seen in about 15 minutes.

Cheers!

It means a high number of TIME_WAIT state connections. Can happen in theory if you are being bombarded with connection attempts, or if you are using a client that establishes a lot of connections (think Bittorrent) and either the client has been closed (leaving to many remote peers trying to connect to you), or you are trying to connect to a lot of unreachable peers.

The Network Tools -> Netstat page might give you a hint.

I just updated my Asus RT-AC68U to firmware 376.45 (Merlin build) and got lots of this error and none of my devices would see the Internet (even though the router still pings it):

So I went back to firmware 376.44 (Merlin build) and everything is back to normal.
