Power RasberryPi with AC66

Any chance I can power a Rasberry Pi3 using the AC66 usb port?

no, that usb port is under powered read the specs for raspberry pi 3 they need 2.5A 1.2A you wont get that from that port, get a proper charger instead.

The only raspberry you can use is Raspberry Pi Model A+ 700mA 500mA that will work

It's not recommended to power the Pi via USB from a computer USB port - it can be done, but it depends on what the port may provide - and the Pi/Pi2/Pi3/PiZero, FWIW, don't fully handshake on the MicroUSB, so the port will likely provide just minimal power (sometimes 100ma, sometimes 500ma, sometimes whatever) - the Pi Foundation folks have answered similar questions over on their forums, and the consensus there is don't...

(this is also why some external chargers, and especially external battery packs are unstable with the Pi's)

That would be nice - I was thinking about that myself - not just for power, but other services...

Many of the little SBC's are starting to implement USB3 as a host interface - but USB3 has a lot more functionality - but this takes effort on the SoC vendors.

Even in OP's situation - USB-C(3) would help the power problem perhaps, but the SoC itself is still a single USB2 host endpoint...

Pi's have OTG kinda support on the power side, but it's very broken...

Anyways - USB-C would solve the power issue - but there's a lot of "bad" USB-C cables right now out there (buy from eBay/Ali whatever, and you might smoke your device)

MicroUSB with the Single Board Computers is hitting a power limit - look at RPi3 and similar, and folks are pushing 2500 milliamps on to a connector that was intended for 500 milliamp at best... which is a bit of a hazard for the devices - not big sparks or harm for people though...
