Printer Won't Connect to RT-AC68R On .542 firmware

Question so ever since the .501 series firmware and onward on the latest 542 my Canon MX340 is not connecting to the RT-AC68R. I have tried WPS and the standard key method and it will just timeout and say failed to connect.

Other devices will connect like cell phones/tablets/Pc's etc but it just refuses to connect the printer

Any suggestions on how to make it work?

Have you tried Legacy mode in Wireless Mode in your router WiFi settings?

In Pro Wifi settings, set Preamble Type to "Long".

I dont know what else you have tried, but you might have to enable and disable every setting one by one in your router in Wifi settings.

At the end of the day and this is just from my experience for future reference, stay away from Canon.

I also checked Canon website and there is no firmware update for your printer. Thats something else you could have tried.
