Processor Upgrade for QNAP TVS-871 i5 to i7

I have a QNAP-TVS-871. The unit is an I5-4790s with 8gb ram. I am interested in upgrading the processor to an i7. (i just purchased 16gm ram upgrade). Has anyone had success with this upgrade? If so, which i7 processor do you recommend?

You won't notice that much of a difference in performance between the i5 and a Core-i7 in this application - probably not enough to justify the cost (unless one gets a really good deal) - anything that's in the same TDP range should be fine - but you're better off getting the same chip as what QNAP may offer for an i7 based solution in the same product line...
