QNAP QTS 4.0 vs. Synology DSM 4.2?

Hi Everyone,

I just ordered the QNAP TS-569L and waiting for it to arrive. I have the upgraded memory and (3) 3TB WD RED HAS drives waiting for its arrival.

While I am waiting...what are your thoughts about QTS 4? I haven't yet seen any reviews comparing functionality and feature sets with Synology.

Also what features do you really like and which ones are maybe a little disappointing?

I plan to us mine primarily to manage my photos/videos in conjunction with Lightroom and Adobe Première. I also intend to use the cloud syncing feature and possibly host a website created with Dreamweaver.

My initial impression is that QTS4 is very much like Synology DSM now from a look and feel. The choice will boil down to the actual features in each.
