R7800 - LAN and WAN throughput?

Hi folks,

I will be getting a 1Gbps connection shortly and thought I would replace my N66U with something beefier. The R7800 looks good but the Tweaktown review from last year suggests its maximum throughput falls considerably short of 1Gbps even when wired. Has anyone had a different experience?
