New Around Here
I just set up a BOYD NAS box with linksys Nas200 and the box is bad and I am getting a replacement I am afraid that they may ask to be reformat during the set up of this new box and I have plenty of data that has been backed up on this drive. How do I read and back this data up. I tried installing it on a linux machine and it says file system not found and also says super block missing.

I would really appreciate if some one can tell me how I can easily read this data and back it up.

Thanks

I think the NAS200's drives are formatted with EXT3. Did you try both drives? How did your NAS200 go bad? Power supply failure? Drive failure? Depending on the failure mode the data may not be easily recoverable.
