Recent error log issues.

These messages just recently started to show up. Any idea as to what causes these? Running 5656.

Set "Log DHCP queries" to no. You also could have found this out by using the SEARCH BUTTON
 
Ok that hides the issue, but the point is it shouldn't be happening with this frequency.

Is that a Windows 7 machine? If yes, then this is a known bug in Windows 7 causing it to spam DHCP servers with proxy requests. This is something Asus resolved in latter versions of the firmware (after 5656), as well as in my own firmware.

I am seeing that very message in 376.44_0.

Must be something different then, because I just checked, and the dnsmasq config entry to stop those proxy requests from Win7 clients is there.
 
OP here. Yes it is a Windows7 system. I changed firmware from 5656 to 376.44 and the messages slowed, but still occur. RMerlin, when you say bug do you mean vulnerability that requires a patch? I didn't used to get these messages on 5656. At least I didn't think so.
