Remove ZAKU II Edition theme?

Can merlin get rid of this random anime robot theme? I got the router because non of the non themed ax86u's where in stock. I though just the physical appearance changed, not the ui,....

With no stock RT-AX86U units in sight locally, I may have to resort to purchasing a red RT-AX86U Zaku version available locally or import a stock unit from elsewhere.

Were you able to put merlin on your Zaku router? and more importantly, were you able to get rid of that gaudy red UI it came with?

Just making sure before I purchase 1.

Every can be done like a stock router like flash merlin, but i never got an answer on how to remove the ui robot theme. I just ended up using my browsers plugin which lets me modify the theme after it loads with javascript. I bet there is a way via sshing into the router and replacing the theme but never found anything obvious

I'm just curious, why are you looking on removing the red GUI theme? just don't like it or something else?
