I keep getting the errors I pasted below in my log. I noticed them starting a few weeks ago. I am not seeing any pattern to events preceding the errors or following the errors. They aren't happening at consistent times. Does anyone have any ideas?

I did do a WPS NVRAM reset, formatting USB stick, and formatting jffs last night. The errors started cropping back up after all of that again.

The "dcd Tainted" errors have been discussed for years. IIRC the current thinking is that it's caused by conflict between AiProtection and certain Merlin add-ons.

Thank you very much for the info. With as long as those errors were, I wasn't sure what to search for. "DCD Tainted" is pulling up plenty of results. I run AI Protection, Skynet, and Diversion. I am pretty sure I didn't start seeing these until I retired my PiHole and switched to Diversion. Diversion is more important to me than the AI Protection. So I will go ahead and turn off the AI Protection.

I don't know whether my memory of this is correct, and I don't have that model of router. So if you could make a follow up post letting us know if that fixes the problem I'm sure it would help others.

It's usually pixelserv (well, the alias interface) conflicting with AiProtection. Disabling the latter may help, i can't recall, but disabling pixelserv stops the error completely.

Disabling the AIProtection alone didn't do it. I had to go ahead and withdraw from the TrendMicro agreement in the Admin/Privacy tab. Since then no errors.

I might turn those back on, since TrendMicro is also behind the AdaptiveQoS and Parental Controls. I am going to give it a little time to see how things go without the Qos, and I should be able to use the porn blocking lists on Wally3ks page in Diversion to cover the parental controls.

I tried to turn AIProtection back on after the 386.1 update. I am still seeing the same errors. So it looks like the same bug is still in the Trend Micro stuff on the 386 codebase.

I have dug through my logs, and I don't see the errors anymore. The 2 big changes I have made are updating to 386.2_2 and uninstalling Diversion. When I uninstalled Diversion I don't believe I removed the Entware packages.
