Replace Broadcom 4313 with Intel Wifi Link 5300?

New Around Here
Hi,

My new (havent received yet) HP Elitebook 8560p has an integrated Broadcom 4313. A few months ago I bought a Intel Wifi Link 5300 (the old notebook died) and it's lying around, and I'm using a Netgear WNDR3700v1 router. I wonder if it is worth to replace the broadcom with the intel wifi card? The Intel card seems to be still a very good card, I cant find any performance data regarding the broadcom so what do you suggest?

You can certainly try the swap. Note that some notebooks lock down the adapters that they will accept. Not sure if your HP is one of them. Try Googling to see if anyone has successfully upgraded it.
