Restricting Wireguard server client access to the router

@ZebMcKayhan Sorry for bothering you. But could you please help me again: I'm getting a client error (connection was refused) on port 853 when accessing my router's DNS. However, there are no errors on port 53. Connections are successful. Do I need to configure anything else on the router for DNS and Wireguard server clients to work on port 853?

This is not really my area, so I probably cant help you.

DoT is something I would expect to be used externally, like directly out to a public dns server or between something like stubby on the router which requests DoT externally or if dnsmasq can do this now days possibly. I wouldnt expect DoT to be running on your lan (or wg server client) between a client and the router. I would expect you to have to go through some stuff before achieving something like this, like installing unbound or stunnel.

Are you sure you have something on the router that can recieve DoT requests?
