I'm sure many folk on here will be familiar with the free utility inSSIDer, for scanning local Wi-Fi networks. I'm curious however - how is it that the RT-AC86U gives results like in my screenshot, whereas the RT-AX88U shows a much slower Max Rate for the 2.4GHz band (54) and also shows it with a rounded top to the graph? Any thoughts on this?
I had been a paying customer of inSSIDer and indeed version 4 has had no updates for a long time. It crashes from time to time.
Metageek continued on with a version 5 with data gathering accounts for revenue as opposed to licenses. It is being updated, but it is not nearly as useful as version 4 without additional subscriptions.
Metageek has successfully alienated me and I have uninstalled both versions.
I am using WinFi Lite 1.0.12
