New Around Here
Hi there,

I and I suppose some others would like to see A review of the above mentioned router.
Why? Is it as fast & (even) better than Netgear's WNDR3700?
It's also good to know if the router has it's usbports set-up for usb-based printersharing.
Last but certainly not least of all: It's good to have A choice.

With 2 detachable sma antennas...

I'll be getting this router and swapping out the removable (thank you, TrendNet!) 3dbi antennas for a couple high-gain 9dbi's. At that point even the 5ghz band should cover the whole house.

BTW, I think the 5ghz band is perfect for geeks. Most consumers won't bother buying (and learning to use) a new router, which leaves the 'a' band open for hobbyists. It might be a couple years before the 5ghz range starts getting crowded. Plus of course 'a' doesn't get screwed up by microwave ovens, phones, garage door openers, bluetooth, etc.

Finally available online now

It's finally available online at many online vendors. I've been waiting to see what this wireless router can do. Feature-wise it's got more features than any of the current crop of concurrent dual-band wireless N routers, including Gig ports, multiple SSID's, 2X USB ports, QoS, detachable antennas, even an LCD display! I have a Linksys WRT54GL w/Tomato running rock solid for many years, but this one is very tempting...

Newegg seems to have but not Amazon. To me it looks like a soup up TEW-652BRP with 4dbi ANT, 680MHz NPU the LED panel. Most of that stuff like the panel adds to the cost. Just have to see if Tim can do a review on it and see how it stacks up. If they made it into a metal case would be better but 5 years warranty on it might sweeten any idea to get it, but no one knows how it will perform.
