Router locking up

Im running a Rt-ac5300 with Merlin (@RMerlin) and FreshJR script (@FreshJR ) and whenever I start downloading torrents it feels like the whole router becomes unresponsive (basically frozen at times ) yet with other downloads let’s say updates , games and software it’s completely fine . What could be the cause ?

Setup
Router : Rt-ac5300 (latest firmware)
Bandwidth manual 200/100
Fq codel LLC
Fresh script with the gaming rule enabled

What makes you think the router is "frozen"? Unable to get to the gui during those loads? I've noticed at times i have to do service restart_httpd at times to get webpage gui to show.
