I have a N56U currently running on fw 1.0.1.7c,
I connected another wless router (tplink 1043nd) behind it to establish a guest network
N56u is on 192.168.1.0 , mask 255.255.255.0 (uplink to ISP)
Tplink is on 192.168.2.0 , mask 255.255.255.0 (uplink to the N56U)
based on the WAN mac address of the TPlink, I have reserved ip address 192.168.1.2 for the tplink in the N56U network.
ALL is fine, but would like to restrict the traffic from tplink @192.168.1.2 to access the internet only. Anyway with routing function in LAN/Route to restrict 192.168.1.2 to access only the gateway at 192.168.1.1?
would this work?
Network Host: 192.168.1.2
Netmask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Metric: ???
INterface: LAN/Wan/MAn ???
or should that be done by other means , I am not even that is the right approach!!
In short I just want 192.168.1.2 to have access to 192.168.1.1
