RT AC-3200 Firmware 378.51_alpha1 issue with OpenDNS

When I set DNS Filtering to OpenDNS Home, I can no longer access the RT AC3200 with http://router.asus.com or https://router.asus.com:8443. It directs me to the ASUS website. I can access with http://192.168.1.1.

Is there a setting I am not getting right?

It's a technical limitation of the way DNSFilter works, by forcing all DNS resolution to go straight to the intended server. You lose local name resolution on that device when you do so.

Router to update OpenDNS

Is there a way to get the router to act as an OpenDNS Updater so I don't have to install it on a Windows computer?

DNS-o-Matic is supported by the router's DDNS services.

Unfortunately, I am using DynDns for DDNS.

Dns-o-matic can update multiple DDNS providers at once.
