RT-AC3100 remote acces via ios app

Hello,

I have an asus rt-ac3100 that i cannot access remotely via ios app. So far asus help
Has been nil. I am not very knowledgeable tech wise, if anyone knows how to
Set it up and does not mind taking the time to help, i will really appreciate it!I did the set up in the app and shows that it's been successfull but it will not connect.
