rt-ac3100 should i update rmerlin

I did the update to 386 version of rmerlin when it originally came out and had issues with the new release, and the webgui ran like a dog. I have not updated since and am curious what experience others with the same router have had with the 386 releases?

Looking forward to hearing some good reports.

This router is the same hardware as RT-AC88U and Asuswrt-Merlin 386.9 is now available for it. Check the release thread, but I don't think there is an issue with 386 firmware and RT-AC3100. You better update because 386.1 is 2-years old firmware and missing a lot of security fixes.
