RT-AC3200 Random WAN Red Light

BOBCAT

New Around Here
My router has a red WAN light randomly during the day and night and I lose internet access. It is connected to a modem that hands out a private IP address to the router. The router connected before, has no issues all day every day. The Asus router will work fine and then it looses the internet connection. The only way to fix the issue is to reboot but this is not practical 6+ times a day. I will attach or post the log I have. Any feedback is appreciated.

I do see this in the log. I have tried static and DHCP but both seem to not work. I am thinking maybe something is defective.
Aug 19 12:17:45 WAN_Connection: ISP's DHCP did not function properly.

Power cycle the WAN side device - or call customer care and open a ticket - the WAN is dropped as the DHCP lease has expired, and attempts to update the lease failed.
