New Around Here
Hello everyone, first post and new to the forum :)

I have a RT-AC56R running RT-AC56U_378.54_1 (just upgraded to 378.54_2 moments ago)

My router has been locking up at random points with no pattern or reason.

I have remote logging setup, that I was hoping would shed some light on the situation.

The last entries when the router locks up are just DNS logs like this:

Jun 15 13:44:52 192.168.53.1 dnsmasq-dhcp[453]: DHCPREQUEST(br0) 192.168.53.246 ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ
Jun 15 13:44:52 192.168.53.1 dnsmasq-dhcp[453]: DHCPACK(br0) 192.168.53.246 ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ DEVICE2

Last week, I decided to factory reset the router and I flashed 378.54_1, there have been around 10 lockups since then (6/12/2015) until today. The router was not locking up back when I was on 378_52 or 378_53.

Any ideas why this would be happening?

I can provide any additional information if necessary.

:EDIT: To clarify, when I say locking up... the webUI, telnet, and Internet are inaccessible. The only resolution at that time is to power cycle the unit.

Turn off the traffic analyzer if you have it on.

Mine has been working fine. I'm still on 54_1 and had the same upgrade path as you.

Have you checked the Temps? Mine runs around 80c
